    Nick does volunteer work at Angela’s House

    Nick wanted to help at Angela’s House. He was told there was some work that needed to be done around the house. Nick happily said he would love to help. He spent hours helping at the house. He did work that usually would take a group of peolpe to do. All by himself , he moved wood chips from the side of the house and mocved them to the back to the playground area. Bob Policastro the executive director said he was perfect volunteer. He was extremely responsible and very very hard working. Nick is a great example of a good young man. Bob could not believe he moved the pile of wood chips all by himself. What a great kid. The renovations to the playground area is now all complete.

    The Pilot Club of Sayville

    The Pilot Club of Sayville helped to secure funding so Angela’s House could get a rubber floor under the handicapped accessible area of the play ground in the back yard of Angela’s House

    Angel of Hope

    The railing , benches and brick work is complete. Most of the memorial bricks are now set.
    We need the granite work to be completed so the Angel can be set.

    Hauppauge Forest Brook Elementary School Helps Angela’s House

    The Student Government from Forest Brook Elementary School visited Angela’s House to help clean up around the house. The students planted 8 cabbage plants in front of the house.

    The children were very good, they worked hard and they did a great job

    A Night for a Cure

    The Event on November 13th was a beautiful evening.
    The volunteers did a great job helping to make this night a success.
    The volunteers were from the Hauppauge High School and Middle School.
    The Hauppauge High Schools Chamber Orchestra performed during the first hour of the
    event and they did an amazing job under the leadership of their teacher and leader

    Hauppauge Middle School make a donation to Angela’s House

    Hauppauge Middle School did a fund raiser called Cars for a Cure. This was done to support the effort Angela’s House was doing on November 13th called A Night for a Cure. The Hauppauge School district was very involved with this effort because they are supporting over 8 children in their community that have diseases and illnesses that this money will go toward. 100 percent of the money raised will go to the research to help find cures for childhood diseases.

    Angel of Hope

    You can see the progress from the past few weeks. The rails around the monument came out great. The rain slowed things down this week but the work will continue.
