Angel of Hope Events
December 4, 2010, Angel of Hope Candle Light Vigil
A candlelight healing ceremony will be held at the base of the Angel monument each year in December. After a few remarks, a moment of silence, the attendees are invited to leave a white flower at the base of the angel statue. The public is welcome.
The Candle light Memorial Service will held at the base of the Angel of Hope Statue
(in case of inclement weather the ceremony will be held inside the Veterans Monument)
December 5, 2009 at 430pm Angel of Hope Candlelight Ceremony
There were over one hundred people that braved the heavy rain and snow on December 5th, 2009. The candlelight ceremony was held in the Veterans Memorial building next to the Angel of Hope. After the ceremony people walked to the Angel of Hope Statue to leave white carnations.
December 6th, 2008 Angela of Hope - Grand Opening & Candlelight Ceremony
There were several hundred people present for the Grand Opening and Candlelight Ceremony on December 6th, 2008. This will also be a candlelight memorial service for parents who have lost a child, of any age, for any reason. This annual memorial service is an opportunity for parents and friends to gather to remember these children who have left our lives too soon. Program scheduled rain or shine.
July 18, 2008
On Friday July 18th at 10am we will have the ground breaking ceremony to mark the beginning of the construction for the Angel of Hope Statue in Eisenhower Park. Parents and families members will come together to celebrate this beginning.
