    Hands for a Cure

    The Hauppauge High School did a fund raiser called “Hands for a Cure”
    The students realized that Angela’s House works with many children in the community
    that have many different types of illnesses and diseases.
    The students wanted to create a fundraiser or help to create awareness and they came up with
    this creative idea

    Wheatley High School Helps Angela’s House

    The Key Club from Wheatley High School did a walk for several groups including Angela’s House.
    The kids did not let the bad weather hold them back. They setup the walk in the building
    along with food and a band to make the morning extra special.

    The Polezhayev Family fundraising concert

    We had a beautiful concert fundraiser on October 11th featuring
    The Polezhayev Family

    Classical Favorites, Hot Tangos
    and Broadway Shows

    The guests attending this concert were treating to a great show. Vladimir and Yelana Polezhayev enjoyed playing on the Yamaha Grand Piano at the Fellowship Hall for our guests.
    Their sons Anton and Simon did a wonderful job. Bob Policastro of Angela’s House was grateful they donated a concert for us.

    The guests attending this concert were treating to a great show. Vladimir and Yelana Polezhayev The Long Island Piano Duo, one-piano 4-hands founded by these original and accomplished pianists. Originally from Russia, this husband and wife team has delighted the audiences in Europe, Canada and the USA with the technique, brilliance and uniqueness of their programsenjoyed playing on the Yamaha Grand Piano at the Fellowship Hall for our guests.     Cars for a Cure

    The Hauppauge Middle School students and staff setup a day of fun for a cause.
    They called it “Cars for a Cure” with proceeds going to Angela’s House. There was all kinds of activities to keep everyone happy. The parking lot was full of classic cars for people to see. The field had some fun games and activities for the kids and inside was a vendor fair. The kids from the school had a great time helping with this exciting event. The event was held in honor
    of the Cashin family from the local community who lost their son this past summer.
